It
should be noted that certain limitations exist within some of the
above file formats. For instance, whilst it is possible to convert
a full-colour CompuServe Graphics Interchange Format (*.GIF) image
to GEM Image format (*.IMG), the resulting picture will lose all colour
information.
By
the same token, converting a fully-formatted Microsoft Word document
to plain text is possible, but all text style settings will be lost
(including font selection, bolding, underlining and italicising).
The
exact limitations depend on the file formats (and versions thereof)
